In order to strengthen the link between geodesy education and partner country societies, a national advisory board will be created in each partner country. Members of the board will be representatives of important geodesy/GIS stakeholders, such as national mapping agency, public or private enterprises in geodesy, mapping and geographic information, government agencies related to infrastruture and geographic information as well as other universities and professional organizations.
The National Advisory Boards will provide support to ensure that curricular development will serve the needs and requirements of partner countries. The boards will also function as monitoring and quality control organs for the Tempus project.
Under February 2011, three National Advisory Boards have been established in Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine, respectively. Members of the boards can be found here.
