The workshop started with lectures by invited speakers:

After lectures, participants are divided into groups to design a project course based on PBL for each partner country university. Each group presented their group work results at a plenary meeting to all workshop participants to get feedbacks. It is decided that each partner university will develop a more detailed course plan for the project course and submit the course plan to the project coordinator before the end of November 2012. The designed project courses are scheduled to be given in Spring semester 2013.

The second part of the workshop is on quality assurance in higher education. A study visit to Swedish National Agency for Higher Education (HSV) has been organized to learn about Quality assurance of higher education in Sweden

After the study visit, the workshop concentrated on quality assurance of programs and courses through course evaluation using standardized questionnaire survey. A preliminary version of the  questionnaire has been developped during the workshop, while the final version in Ukrainian, Armenian and Moldavian languages will be delivered before the end of March 2013. It is planned that in Spring semester 2013, all geodesy and GIS courses will be evaluated using the standard questionnaire.

At the end of the workshop, participants also had a study visit on deformation measurements at the Vasa Museum.
