This project is funded by the European Union's Tempus Programme. The wide objective of the project is to modernize higher education in geodesy to support sustainable development in Kosovo and facilitate Kosovo's integration with European Union. The specific objective is to develop and start a new geodesy master programme at University of Prishtina in accordance with the Bologna process and based on the needs and requirements of the society.
The project activities include development of a new master curriculum in geodesy and 8 new teaching materials, establishment of a new Geodesy Laboratory at University of Prishtina and re-training of Kosovar staff through four training courses. The project will also implement new pedagogical methods and quality assurance mechanism in geodesy education.

The project consortium consists of 10 partners, with Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) as the coordinating institution (grant holder). The project will last for three years, from 01/12/2013 to 30/11/2016.
